Where is the villa located?

It is located within the peaceful and tranquil secure gated Heritage Greens community, about a 20 minute drive east of Naples in south west Florida. A perfect location to explore Naples, Marco Island, the Everglades, and the many fascinatingly diverse attractions they have to offer from beautiful beaches, resorts, shopping and recreation to sweeping sawgrass prairies and wetlands with flourishing wildlife. Tampa and Miami International Airports are approximately two and a half hours away by car.

What facilities are there at Heritage Greens?

Guests at the villa have the benefit of using the facilities at Heritage Greens Community Centre. These include a large communal swimming pool, floodlit tennis courts, gym, Arrowhead golf club (green fee applicable), spa and jacuzzi, children's activity apparatus, and volley ball court.

How many does the villa sleep?

The maximum number of guests permitted is 11 due to Florida State Fire Regulations and includes all people regardless of age or size.

What is your policy on smoking and pets?

For your comfort and safety neither are permitted in the villa.

Where's the nearest shopping centres or grocery stores?

There are two Publix supermarket stores both within a mile of Heritage Greens and Walmarts, a little further, is next to MacDonalds.

What is provided and what do I need to bring?

The villa is furnished and well equipped with all modern amenities including kitchen utensils, appliances, cutlery and crockery, ice maker, and plastic pool side items. Bed linen is provided as well as bathroom and pool towels. There are two hair dryers; an iron and ironing board with washer and dryer in the utility room. We do not provide dishwasher detergent, washing powder, or toilet paper. The villa has a music system and DVD player but no discs.

What do you provide for very young children?

We provide a high chair and cot, suitable for children under 24 months. You can rent a crib, toddler bed, booster chair seat, car seat, stroller, swing, bouncer, gate etc. locally - see our links page.

Is linen provided?

Linen is provided for the beds. Towels are provided for the bathroom and pool. They are not to be used as beach towels. Please bring your own.

Is the pool heated?

The price is included in the rental rate. The use of the pool is at your own risk.

Does the villa have a telephone?

The villa has a telephone. All local calls and select 0800 numbers to local attractions, airlines and car rental companies are free.

Is there air conditioning and heat?

Air conditioning and heating is available in the villa. For those very warm Florida days and nights the air conditioning is supplemented with ceiling fans.

When is the villa cleaned and maintained?

As the villa is self-catering, the property is cleaned before you arrive and after your departure. If you require a 'mid-stay' clean, that can be requested and is an additional charge. The pool is checked and cleaned every Thursday at 9.00 am. The lanai doors are kept unlocked so you will not need to be disturbed. The landscaped gardens are maintained every Tuesday. Our property management team are Bob & Ann Spencer, telephone (239) 571 6365. They are former Heritage Greens residents and manage the property to the highest standard.

When is the refuse/garbage collected?

Refuse/garbage is collected twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please follow the example of your neighbours and make sure the wheels are facing the correct way. The refuse collectors will not empty your bin if it is facing the wrong way. Your bin may be put out the night before it is due to be emptied, but it must be stored away in the garage once it has been emptied. There is a $50 fine imposed by local authorities on you if you leave it out.

Are there any safety features in the villa?

Smoke detectors are situated throughout the property. There is also a fire extinguisher. The house also has an alarm system fitted, which includes an alarm on the patio door to the pool to help safeguard the younger members of your family. Patio door alarm is set on request. Please let us know if you require this facility.

Do you offer any late availability or early booking discounts?

At certain times we do offer reduced rates, please enquire about your preferred dates to see if we can offer a preferred rate.

Do you offer a discount for long stays?

If you want to stay longer than 2 weeks, we can usually make your rental rate better and offer a discount.

How does the Security Deposit work?

A £500/$850 security is required which will be refunded within 30 days of departure subject to the terms and conditions of rental.

Do I need insurance?

We strongly recommend you obtain full travel and medical insurance for the duration of your holiday.
